Alpine horseback adventure

These trips are based from the main base camp at the edge of the alpine. We ride out each day to explore a new area.

On day 1 we ride from the ranch house up to base camp. It starts with getting all our gear together and packing up the hosres. We make sure you are comfortable with your horse and all our gear and supplies are safely packed on the packhorses. This ride takes a little over 3 hours and gains over 3000 feet in elevation. Base camp is relaxing and well established. With canvas wall tents on wood floors, a new cabin for cooking and dining, a great campfire area. We have a shower tent and all this is alongside a beautiful mountain stream. It is only a 5 minute hike to "Fox Hill" where you overlook a huge alpine meadow and all the peaks surrounding it.

Most days, the rides are 5 to 6 hours that are spaced comfortably over the day. We stop and enjoy the area, have a leasurely lunch, perhaps do some fishing. We may let the horses feed for awhile, as we stop and enjoy the the view and take some photos.

The cost of these horseback adventures is $190.00 Canadian per day. plus 6% gst.

This includes all food and lodging, your cook, wrangler and all guiding service, whether it be horseback, hiking or fishing.

We can arrange transport to and from Williams Lake B.C. if desired.
